It's simply because it's jarring in the case of Phoenix, the other characters didn't really get to have any other objections beforehand, not to mention 2004 is a bizarre choice since it's really not the "heritage" theme people claim it to be and more of a "the TnT objection" from its usage in the game (even Edgeworth uses it for god's sake), to be fair that's because the objections weren't character leitmotifs before like aai, and even there it's actually entirely different compositions. As for Ryu, people would've definitely would've at least been confused by the lack of a remix... If it didn't release in western countries in a bundle that made people not notice it's two separate games.

Just finished this game yesterday. It's probably the best game that I've played from the new trilogy so far. In AJ : AA, I don't really care much about Apollo and his story - I was only looking forward to seeing Phoenix in the game. But this game actually made me care about Apollo as a character a lot more than before. And then there's Athena and Blackquill, both whom I find interesting (Blackquill's the best prosecutor after Edgeworth for me). The 3 cases toward the end just made me feel like crying. This game was THAT good to me. Both the plot and soundtrack were pretty well done. The game was so satisfying to play. Now I've just started playing Spirits of Justice. I do hope it's just as good or better than DD. ....and I'm gonna play DD from the beginning again when I have the time. Hehe.

The violin sounds amazing and it perfectly represents how Phoenix grew since his T&T days. He is more refined and more comforting in knowing that he can handle the case y know! Also his return from the disbarment. Don't get me wrong I ADORE Hobo Nick but this song just,,, eek it's so uplifting. Imagine an Universe where this plays while Apollo is stuck or smthing and Phoenix just does an objection in all his hoodie and beanie glory and guides Apollo to the truth. Brb sobbing time :D
