Dualtron Storm Limited (UK) - IPX7 Waterproof Electric Scooter

I love this scooter. Although there are many alternatives, it always was in my mind as "The Scooter". Now I own it for two months, first thousand kilometers passed on the odometer. It certainly has it's special character. Since I owned it I kond of stopped looking at oter models and focused more on better feeling it's traits and features. It allows me to get out of the city riding car-only roads and feeling safe when I know what I'm doing. When cars see how it goes, there are almost zero people who are not respecting you on the road although the overall "climate" welcoming the scooter riders on car roads is pretty low. The ABS is almost a must, it just makes the braking reliable and smooth. I still kind of lear how to make ludicrous acceleration by double tapping the throttle, but anyways in a lot of circamstances I start faster than most cars and even some bikes (of courcs they are not pushing that hard, but their regular start it slower that this Scooter has). Sometimes there comes little wobble at speeds about 70-15 kmph, but then it goes away, it probably has something to do with road surface and "waves" on the pavement as I seem to encounter it in same certain sections of the road.

Great feedback on this model, let us know about the maintenance as well, have you changed the brake pads or tires ?

Monster! Mine will be arriving in March. Are there any issues with the controllers with regard to regenerative breaking? Should I choose lever of recuperation carefully when it is fully charged?

The Dualtron App installed on the phone. Will use the thief's phone location if the owner has the anti theft feature enabled. Please consult with your seller directly since the feature may still be in development.

I have incredible vibration over 55 km/h strange sound nearly at 20 km/h if I drive slowly.. Do you have any idea ? The biggest issue is ; I could not find any contact information to get Technical Support. Do you know any ?

If you're referring to wether it has the new ports, then yes, it does, it comes with the most up to date charging port. Manufacturer calls it internally "Baming Port"

The Dualtron Storm Limited comes with a non removable battery. Are you referring to the Dualtron Storm ? There are 3 other models with removable battery : Storm New, City New and Dualtron Sonic.

I hope they didnt put a skinny stupid little cylinder silver pin in that folding mechanism. Looks same design as my supreme and eventually it can crack in half, sometimes it can happen on the slightest bump on the road. The most robust durable folding mechanism is the C clamp i would feel more safe with that tbh if this scooter had that feature instead.

No sine-wave controllers - deal breaker!

The Dualtron storm limited has at least 4500 fine tuning adjustable power settings. You can fine tune the power : 1-5 Speed Modes; 1-100 Motor Power; 1-3 Battery Saving Modes; 1-5 Launch Control Modes.

@@W_1_3_7 That might true, we've sold over 1,000 units in the UK, had 0 customers ask for it. If it's one in a thousand I don't think the manufacturer will consider it. Although there have been talks to bring it to the next models, so keep a lookout in 2024 for such controllers.

I never tried sinewave controllers but I guess they have reason why they still using squarewave, like longevity, one youtuber had sinewave on wolf gt r and he had destroy it 2x only with 500km

Slow!? How fast do you need to go on a scooter? I can't go 40mph and feel safe. These scooters are insanely fast and the acceleration is unbelievable.
