I’m sure a lot of people have already commented this but man, if you’re really just diving into Lupe please please go back and listen to his full body of work. Food & Liquor & The Cool are two of the best hip-hop albums of all time, not including Testuo & Youth, Drill Music In Zion, Drogas, F&L2, etc. Undoubtedly the most underrated emcee in the game, and has been easily cemented in my top 3 for the last 2 decades. So yeah, do yourself a favor a take a deep dive through Lu’s discography 🙏🏽🙌🏽

He's my favorite rapper and the Royce beef is about the only time any of the reactors I watch reacted to him. If you like his lyrical stuff, he has a trilogy of songs called Mural ("Mural" from Tetsuo and Youth, "Mural Jr." from Drogas Wave and "Ms Mural" from Drill Music in Zion). His last album, Drill Music in Zion is worth a listen.

@@Ausgravewait until you piece together the michael young (my cool young history) story. Ive been liecing that story together for 20 years. The majority of the story is told on the album The Cool, but the story begins on his first album food and liquor on a song called the cool. There is another song called Real recognize real, which introduces the characters in the story. I think that song was on an early version of food and liquor that leaked and didnt make the album once it was released. That version of the album may be vetter than the version that was released. But the concept album and cool story is the most incredible thing ive heard in music.
