Kahhori's basic being assisted meant that f2p had a CHANCE to beat whales and krakens who also had Odin so of course they threw a temper tantrum. Just like the SK Trial proposed changes and instant cancellation (although I agree they shouldn't have tried to change it in the first place, especially halfway in), $copely only makes or reverses changes if the money marks complain.

Usually FTP have to wait 4 weeks until they get their hands on a new character (unless you are lucky with the rng orbs or core for the orbs). So I think, this is not a valid argument (at least this time). For the balance of the game I think it's better to have her kit slightly changed. And they announced it before her offers went live and because of the kit change they will sell her less. In Summary, Scopely will make less money with her, but did something for the balance of the game.

@@karlkraus6667 Whales and Krakens will buy regardless. $copely would rather take the hit in 'maybe' sales from low/mid spenders than piss off their lifeblood. Yes, f2p will wait a month but when they DO get her she will be massively underpowered since the 'Massive Spending Faction' can't stand for f2p to even sniff their socks once anymore in pvp modes. You say balance of the game, I say balance of the CLASSES of players (No/Low/Mid Spenders vs. Whales and Krakens).

@@Jrod2334 to be honest, I think Scopely never tested the possibility of the assist mechanic. So I think it was never intended, that she can destroy one (meta) character right out of the gate. So she nerfed it. Do you really want such an OP character? Where is the strategy when you can destroy (almost) every character before the opponent can take a turn. She is still very strong. I mean, she literally takes 3 turns at the beginning of the battle.
