@@syeyymyy5926 you can see the parallels with his childhood with tadashi in the last (or last two) episodes i think! it's very obviously shown that he found in langa what he found in tadashi when they were kids. tadashi was always the only one that could compete with him but their relationship was broken and tadashi stopped skating, so he turned to langa (cause he was the only one that could compete with him since tadashi stopped skating). Adam is really fun despite being someone I'd want to punch in the face, but he's also a fascinating character. I get the sense that he got so good that he got bored with his former friends. I think the reason he's looking for his "eve" is because he wants the kind of partnership Reki and Langa have. He wants someone at his level to skate with, not realizing that you don't need someone on your level to have fun with. To me the, uh, interesting way he talks to his opponents is really just a hyperbolic/romanticized manifestation of his desperation and loneliness. Because of that, I found it very satisfying to watch him finally find his eve in Tadashi.
