DUB FX | DOCUMENTARY | VP MEETS

When Vita Pictura was thinking of creating the brand new series of documentaries with musicians and producers from around the world called VP MEETS, one of the first choices was Dub FX, an international artist whose rise to fame began way back in the late 2000’s on KZbin.
Dub FX’s use of loop pedals and conscious lyrics proved so popular in the early days of KZbin, that the recordings of his street performances gained hundreds of millions of views worldwide, making him one of the first KZbin music stars.
Fifteen years later, the DUB FX | DOCUMENTARY | VP MEETS was born, where the man himself speaks about his music journey around the world, his views on music-making and much more. The film includes footage shot throughout the last six years on his European tours and the interview that was shot in Estonia.

Dub, perfect timing for this mini-doc. Been listening for awhile and truly want hear you walk us thru your groove. You did just that. Really interested in hearing about your Jamaica connects and vids. Those cats are level-up. Shahida and Jah-9 and damit! I forget the second name in Radiant Star. The child being held was cool af. Dub, you need to hit a small but magical festival in May and October called The Joshua Tree Music Festival in Joshua Tree California.
