Omg!! Every single word you said is exact the same word that I want to put on my Expo 2020 journal. I 100% agree with every detail you mentioned on this vlog. My husband and I live here in Dubai and we are 25 minute drive away from Expo 2020, so every chance we get, we go there. Today will be our 6th visit. I agree with you. Thanks! The flights were only £460 direct return with Emirates - the hotel was about the same. So overall for just over a week, under a grand. Obviously I spent some money whilst I was out there, but it's not a bank breaker. If you chose to fly indirect and was willing to bunk in a hostel, you could do it for about half that. I'd love to go to the World Cup, but the prices are astronomical for Qatar!

Loved expo so much. I'd recommend to visit the bhutan exhibit, a local from bhutan was actually there and try different types of coffee from different countries especially the civet one.

I agree, Dubai Expo was amazing! I just scoured my footage for Bhutan ... if I remember correctly, it was interesting from a fact point of view, but the people there weren't very interactive. You got lucky!

@@doriscruz8934 I think I just replied to another of your messages, but that $14 ticket is now for unlimited entries. You can go as many times as you like, which is excellent value for money. The Garden in the Sky costs a little extra, but it's not much ... like $8 or something small like that.

I'm always an honest guy - I think that's what people like about my videos. The United Kingdom Pavilion was terrible, but I'm glad most of the ones I went to were good. That said, the Dubai Expo 2020 was the most fun I've had in a long while - I miss it dearly and if I could rewind time and do it all over again, I would!

How do you book in advance for the German and Japanese Pavilion? I don't believe you can. Certainly not like the Emirates Airlines pavilion which you can book online. Germany and Japan are not part of the smart queue system for groups either. In my experience, you just have to hope you get your timing right. They are certainly amongst the best pavilions and are worth the wait. Totally agree about the UK exhibit! You come away thinking I must have missed something! The PCR test or vaccination is not required for under 18's. I absolutely love it too. Departing Monday for visit no.3 with a group of young tech enthusiasts from Europe!

I managed to book countries using the smart ticketing system, but some of them don't allow it. In fact, outside the Japanese pavilion - there's a looped audio recording telling people to book in advance. Bookings open at 9:00am every day for that day, so you have to be really quick. With the Germany one, I just waited in a long queue. Most of the people watching this are over 18, so I never considered issuing that information, but yes you're correct. Though I'm not sure why a country as strict as the UAE would determine that under 18's wouldn't need vaccinations or PCR tests. Visit #3? Lucky you! I wish I could go back now.

Great Video! I visited every pavilion and had the same impressions as you. (In fact, I'm at your right at 11:19, in Japan Pavilion, recognized you because I'm a United supporter as well, and youtube just recommended this video to me. What a small world!). My contribution to this awesome content is that Latvia was my favorite among the smaller pavilions (Great message about the country being a fertile ground for innovation, presenting dancers with high tech products in a room that was built with bricks made of a rare type of soil that can be found in Latvia). What is your honest opinion about the Brazil Pavilion? I would appreciate it if you could compare it with the other pavilions that you visited, especially in the sustainability district

WOW! Small world, eh? Yes I remember you! I hope you're doing well. I did like the Latvia pavilion ... the girls there are just super nice! I understood what the Brazilian pavilion was supposed to symbolise, especially with the water. But I largely thought that it was a missed opportunity... they could have done so much more with the space that they had. Certainly Singapore and the Netherlands made better use of the space that they had to get the message across. I think Lithuania's pavilion in the sustainability district was pretty eye opening. Farms in test tubes etc.

No, you don't have to cancel any tickets. With a single day ticket, you can still book (I think) about 10 smart queue tickets per day. I would definitely book the Japan exhibit (bookings are live at 9:00am for same day tours) and the Emirates pavilion. The others ... you can avoid the queues by just going really early (10:00am) or really late.

Believe it or not, you can hire people movers (which are like oversized golf carts) or use the free of charge mini-bus to go around the expo. As for resting, there's plenty of places such as the Visitor Centres, which have on-site toilets, showers, prayer rooms and medical facilities and most of the big pavilions have their own restaurants etc. I can sympathise with you, I have chronic back problems too!

Yes, they've reduced the price further. Just buy that one $14 ticket and you can go as many times as you like with it. It's phenomenal value for money and I think they're desperate for people to visit in the last few weeks of the Expo! Good luck!

Actually yes! It was really interesting and very symbolic. It had some very cool things in it - and I was shown around by an actual Vatican Priest. As a person who was educated in a Catholic school (though I'm not Catholic myself) - it was interesting to hear about why he decided to become a priest and what motivated him to move to the Vatican.
