@@naimhossain8098 To live outside? Because live under the roof all the time sucks. It is like winter in Scandinavia. Terrible weather and darkness all the time, so people stay most of the time inside their houses and then they are depressed. In Dubai in summer it is the same, just opposite. For me, to live happy live I must be under the sky at least half of the day.

is there warm in january? i want to take my son for his birthday in january but not sure if weather will be nice for swimming
@TraveLike2 жыл бұрын
In December the weather was very pleasant (temperature was around 25°C) so it was warm! However, in winter it might be too cold for swimming. We would definitely advise to wait till March-April if you would like to swim 😁

Why going to Dubai for new years eve was not the best idea? 🤔
@TraveLike3 жыл бұрын
The hotels were 3 times more expensive in this period and to see the famous Burj Khalifa fireworks you had to go there in the morning and wait for at least 10 hours, as later the area was cut off (from 2PM) so it was impossible to get there later. Therefore on NYE all the fast foods like KFC or even Starbucks in Dubai Mall which have a view of a Burj Khalifa charge 250 euro per person, so you can eat something and see the famous fireworks (which are quite disappointing to be honest). Aparat from what’s going on around Burj Khalifa, you can’t really feel any festive vibe, it’s a bit like a normal day in Dubai, the restaurants are open and it’s hard to find any organizing New Years Eve dinners or parties so there is not too much celebration around. But it can actually be an adventage, as we were able to get a table on NYE at 21.00 in a nice restaurant without making a reservation before and we didn’t have to spend a fortune even though it was the New Years Eve. Maybe some fancy places are organizing parties and dinners but we can imagine it can be pricey. But we think the biggest disadvantage is that it’s very busy period in Dubai so there are masses of people everywhere and very long queues to every attraction ☹️ Also - if you would like to celebrate with an alcohol or a glass of champagne in the midnight it can be difficult, as majority of restaurants don’t have any alcoholic drinks in the menu.

Is Dubai safe for couples that are not married?
@TraveLike3 жыл бұрын
Yes, nowadays it’s very safe! There are no legal problems because of that reason anymore :). I was the most worried about clothing and if I have to cover my legs or arms, but it turned out that it’s not a problem at all, most of the tourists were wearing short dresses and it wasn’t anything unusual. In general we were feeling very safe in this city
