Dubai is sinking for the first time this century! Thunderstorm in UAE and floods.
Dubai was flooded after heavy rains and thunderstorms. Traffic and flights were also affected due to weather conditions in the emirates. The strong cyclone caused local flooding. The first floors of most buildings were flooded.
The National Center of Meteorology has issued a yellow-orange warning. The streets turned into impassable streams. In some places the rain was accompanied by gusts of wind. More than a hundred cars were completely flooded. The thunderstorm forced residents to take shelter.
There were power outages in some areas. The water depth in the lowlands was more than 1 meter. The streets were flooded, making it difficult for pedestrians to move normally. The wind tore down billboards and debris along the streets.
Low vehicles were unable to cope with the water level. Some parts of the desert were also flooded. Several barns were destroyed due to strong winds. Heavy rain continued for almost the whole day.
Due to extreme weather conditions, residents were advised to avoid beaches and stay indoors.

when i lived in Dubai i used to ask why there are no drainage tunnels on the road or street in case of rain. they said because it is not needed as it never really rains there. and when it rained for just an hour one day, it was like it rained for a week nonstop. i said to my friend that this pattern is wrong. this kind of rain is nothing in my country but here it is a big deal.

The bible says in Hebrews 9.27. It is appointed on to man to die and after death judgement. Jesus Christ loves you soo much that He suffered and died for you to be saved. You don't need to pay anything. He has already paid the price for your sins. There was no sin in Him but He carried your sins for you to be saved. He wants you to be in Heaven with Him. Just accept Him into your life. He is knocking at the door of your heart. Give your life to Him and accept Him as your Lord and personal Saviour.

These are man made issues. Drainage is an afterthought at best in most of the Middle East, as is sewers. It may not rain often in these areas but it does storm on occasion.

I remember in 2008 trying to get to the Dubai Airport and it took 3hrs to get over the Almaktum Bridge. Yes it can can rain …the problem is there is no storm sewer system. The sun will come out and all will be dry Inshalla…all be safe…
