I'm from Seattle, and just got back from another trip to Dubai is surprisingly affordable. Yes, you can easily spend $150-200USD on ultra high end restaurants, but I was able to eat well at numerous places for $10-20 USD. The Metro, especially with the weekly pass, is very inexpensive. I ate on the beach at nice restaurants on Palm Jumeirah for far less then I would in the US. Uber is about 50-60% cheaper than in the US (Seattle), food is about 20-30% cheaper than in Seattle, and Ski Dubai is way cheaper than skiing in Seattle. Heck, I could probably fly back to Dubai, ski for 5 days with private ski lessons at Ski Dubai and fly back to Seattle for less money than if I took private ski lessons near Seattle. Dubai is so amazing too in every way.

Are you me? Haha I’m also from Seattle and went to Dubai last year. A lot more affordable than what most people think. Shit even RE is cheaper there. Certain parts of Dubai you can buy a condo for 300K. Average condos/townhomes in Seattle are 450k

im sorry can i get a clarification, you said the nol card is 30$ per week then why did you pay another dollar to get to dubai creek/ abra? will the 30$ give me unlimited usage of all the transportaion you mentioned?
