Vivin Vincent is it really just for the Emarati? There, as long as you have money, you are treated the same way because you can afford to be treated in that way. These workers are not forced to come to the UAE they chose to do that. And they can leave if they don't want to stay there. Let me ask you a question. What is better, no job or a shitty job? Imo all these workers found a better oppurtunity working in another country because they could find a job of the same level in their own country. With that being said, I agree that the conditions of constuction workers should improve drastically.

K unknown guy. Am guessing ur not frm the UAE gov. If u r pls change the way u treat ur infra workers. It's really appalling their condition. And no one is forcing them to come to the UAE ur right . And ur wrong about when they can leave cause their masters or arbabs confiscate their passport and they can leave only when their visa expires. Oh ur wrong about Annother thing with the economy of the UAE being bad as of now they get way more in their own countries.

Vivin Vincent I'm not from UAE but I visit it frequently. I have heard of worker who are denied to have their passports and I absolutely don't agree with it. Based on what my friends from there tell me it has gotten much better over the years and it is improving as we speak. Also the passport thing is illegal btw, and if you are caught doing it you could go to jail and be fined massively. Also, I didn't say anything about the economy of the UAE.

I assure you. Workers know the kind of work they signed a contract into. It is a better opportunity than the one given to them in their own country. Yes, it's not perfect, but they are treated as human being and have rights and can complain in any case of mistreatment or violation of their contract. The UAE is governed by law and even an expat can take what is rightfully his by law with no discrimination. Happiness initiatives are targeted at both Emiratis and expats. You might see otherwise, but in a country where you pay no tax and only 5% since 2018. I cannot see what you would be accepting in return.
