Yes you can not use your nol card in abu dhabi buses. You have to buy abu dhabi bus card from the airport. If you just wanna come to dubai there is direct bus from abu dhabi airport to dubai.

Hi Dear, Actually it depends on area you are going to. we went to our hotel from central bus station and it was very near so taxi was like 18 AED i think. also max cost for metro from one to end another is 7.5 AED. for us it was like 5 AED depends on the zone

I Actually forgot the name. I will reply here if i find it in emails or somewhere. Taxi was like 20-30 dirham it was near to yas island. Btw most of abu dhabi taxis don’t take cards so always keep cash with you.

Hi Dear thank you for the kind words. So abu dhabi metro bus stop is very near to yas island i am not sure about other places. But it is in the center of abu dhabi. - You can either take a taxi otherwise there are also an in city bus station nearby. You can walk there and get a bus to your desired destination. I would recommend using google maps it will show you which bus will go and what time. - the frequency of bus is every 20 mins both ways. Please make sure to check on google maps before because weekends or afternoon hours might effect the timings. There can be less buses on weekend.

There is new bus service i think it is recently launched. You can get a direct bus from abu dhabi airport to dubai ibn e btuta metro station. Bus runs every hour and you get the ticket from the bus counter at airport. The ticket was 45 aed and bus took only an hour to reach dubai.
