Shoumit - I was in Abu Dhabi in 1982. That time it was Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan the ruler of 7 Emirates. My father worked for Ruwais Refinery - Part of ADNOC(Abu Dhabi National Oil Company). Ruwais Refinery was 950 kns from Dubai. It took about 4 .5 hrs to get to Dubai. Speed of the car was 180 Kms/hr. Lovely memories. Used to fly GULF AIR in those years.

United Arab Emirates (UAE) is made up of seven different Arab countries and the Abu Dhabi, being the largest country is the capital city of UAE and its current ruler (Sheikh/King) is the president of UAE and Dubai's ruler/Sheikh is the Prime minister of UAE. All the options are there if you ask someone.. if you get down opposite to aquarium take Q3 bus and go other side free of cost … and from there you can catch bus..

if you book ferrarri world tickets from their website in advance, there is a free shuttle (first come first serve basis) from dubai (around diera/burjuman area) which takes you to ferrari world directly.

If you cross the speed limit, by the time you bat en eyelid, the Cops will be there. They use Radars. When I stayed in Ruwais Housing Complex, the roads were washed every day. At that time, year 1982, the temperatures in Summer touched 45 degrees Centigrade.
