Hi Chef! Last time you did a vlog on Joe Kuan, my husband and I went 3 days later. At 11am, Saturday, the place was packed, the Tai Pao and the big mangkok were sold out. The staff were overwhelmed by the response to your vlog. I didn't know if I should be happy for them or sympathetic as some customers were impatient with the long waiting time. Anyway, we settled for the other noodle soup bowls which were satisfying and the special siopaos. 👍 So, I will learn from that experience and visit this new recommendation after a week or two.😅 Hopefully by then, there will not be as much frenzy. Looking forward to your future recommendations.

Chef, if you love beefbrisket noodles, let me recommend a resto in Hkg for you. Be aware that this is almost just a hole in the wall type of resto but has excellent noodle dishes. It’s in Sham Shui Po area in Kowloon. Resto name is:Lau Sum Kee Noodle( 80 Fuk Wing Street) Exit D from the sham shui po MTR station. Their beef brisket is superb and their pork pata. You can have it with dry hkg noodles or with soup.
