Visited Salala by road in first week of August 2023, I recommend to take route from DXB via Ibri to Salala, the other route is very boring with petrol pumps after very long distance, after crossing Ibri only 200 km approx empty route will come which lead to a small town called Thumriyat there you will find hotel, shops and petrol pump, from this small town Salala is approx 70 to 80 kms
