Hi Petra, thank you for your sweet lovely words! We enjoyed ourselves as much as we could but this was during the time my mom was in the hospital so I was ridden with heartache hearing progress reports from my siblings as my mom got worse. I did visit her before we left (my family is all in NY and I'm in California) and I'm so glad I did as she was still able to communicate. By the time we got back, we was non-responsive but I got to see her one more time and be with her. lots of love back to you! xo

My mom used to visit me all the time , not now anymore. I went last year and this September we will be going again. I wouldn’t forgive my self. It’s hard, so I so feel with you. I’m 56😜 I just want to say, you are very beautiful so sweet so classy. I love your content your videos. Life is so short and so hard. But we can always find wonderful moments. When I saw Dubai popped up on my screen, I was "No, not in the mood for pretentious anything" ahh, was pleasantly impressed with everything you showed, spectacular. My ♡ was all the spicy fries, french fries with every meals, that was heaven. I hope your 2nd airbnb was enjoyable! I have never stayed and probably never will stay at airbnb. I appreciate your grace and beauty, first class, yet humble. 🙌🏽 to finding the last minute accommodation. The price tags for a week gotta be over-the-top 😉 Wishing you the best and safe travels!

I also have a difficult time adjusting when I travel internationally, but it’s totally worth the discomfort to see the world. Hi Stacy! aren't you so sweet! Yes it is a true blessing to be able to travel and experience the world. There is still so much to see. Sadly that airbnb did not refund us, oh well. Week 2 has more excitement in it. Overall we tried to have a good time knowing my mom was in the hospital and that left me with such heartache and stress that I could not be by her side. Luckily I had be able to fly home to see her just before the trip while she was still lucid. I also flew back as soon as we had returned from Dubai but she was already in a non-responsive state but I'm glad I could be by her side none-the-less. I would love a re-do on the trip but I tried to make the most of it. The footage hides it well I think. It was still wonderful, just awful timing. Hope you are having a wonderful week! xo

Hey Maria, what a great trip!! Awesome job on capturing the adventure! I know that several viewers have been asking about you doing a new video on your under eyes since you said you are doing a new routine. You know how undereye circles and bags are a huge concern for many and I know you had asked what would be of interest to the public and you know what a great response you had before on that topic. Just an idea or suggestion since you had asked. I know you said you are correcting and concealing in a different way now. Have you ever tried PTR eye tightener mixed with concealer. Some love it or hate it.

Hi Giona! Thanks so much for watching and I'd love to do another undereye make up routine. I'm apprehensive as I just released a video last week of beauty secrets and it's one of my poorest performing videos so that was a bit of a shocker. However, I do love sharing other topics relative to women like beauty, skincare, fitness, wellness and hope eventually these videos will also find an audience. I have not tried PTR but I will look into it. If it tightens and reduces crepey-ness then I'm all for it! Thank you for your lovely suggestion and reminder!!!

Hi Mercedes, since the city is so big, we wanted to experience different neighborhoods as well as other accommodations. so many lovely hotels. Last year we stayed in 1 hotel for the whole week so this year we wanted to venture out a little more, not that a cab can't take you wherever you want to go, but we just wanted to try out different spots. Also, I think Airbnb is on its way down, and I really hope it is… Not a fan of Airbnb’s at all. Hotels are by far our favorite! Call us old school, but that is the only way we travel!

I’ve been a Airbnb host for 7 years now. It’s my only income. Sure hope it’s not on its way out. I’ve been booked solid for years. Much cleaner, more affordable, and quieter than nearby hotels.

Hi Lisa! I always prefer a hotel because I like to be catered to but it comes at a price. When we want a staycation, we like to rent airbnb's in joshua tree/palm springs just for an inexpensive escape. We've had great experiences always, except for this one in Dubai. thank you for sharing
