I've never been a big fan of ko uchi makikomi (for me, not as a technique as a whole) but I might like this one. And that Mongolian uchi mata entry for this looks brutal. Thanks for posting.

Beautiful technique. I almost always see ko uchi gake rather than ko uchi GARI - this is a nice way to get a clear reap.

The ko uchi gake done as osoto, very nice

This throw is effective. I use in randori.

Hirotaka Okada style ko uchi. There’s a great tutorial on KZbin somewhere. Nice work Dom.

Yep. Okada style.

There's so much more rotation and smoothness than what I've been taught. Mine is a lot rougher and looks more like Kouchi-makikomi, he makes it looks so smooth.

Man, if theirs is smooth to you, I'd hate to see what yours looks like.

Not really gake. More like ko uchi gari. To be gake, you should be hooking not reaping and it should be the back of your opponents knee not calf.
@yakovdavidovich79433 жыл бұрын
That's an awful lot of reaping going on for a gake... methinks it's more of a ko uchi gari...
