It's the end of an era on the ,8th of December the 46a will be no more. It's being replaced by the ,E2. A lot more bus routes coming into operation that day and others finishing the 63 145 155 and I think the 11 as well. As a young soldier in McKee Barracks back in 1980 I used to get the 46a into town and then the 66 home to Leixlip. Bagatelle sang about the 46a it will be missed

Its the end of an era: 46a, 46e, 63, 63a, 84, 84a, 84x, 143, 144, 145, 155, 184, and 185 are getting replaced by the E1, E2, 19, L1, L2, L3, L12, L14, L15, L26, L27, X1 and X2 and Routes 4, 11 and 13 are getting diverted tomorrow
