I was on my way out of town in Belfast after getting some groceries. Had ten mins to kill so i sat down on the benches across the road from the albert clock. Was a foreign guy drinking beside me smoking a rolly. I asked him could i trade him a beer for a rolly. He said yes and i asked him his story. He said his name was david and he was from Iran but he came here because they tryd to deport him from Liverpool. Went to Dublin where he said he "tricked his way into a mental home where they put images into his dreams". I dont know how he got out of their but they tryd to deport him from dublin. There are 4.2 million indigenous in The Republic of Ireland. The TOTAL population in the last census was 5.1 million ( 2022 ) 580,000 are recent immigrants over last 10 years, 120,000 are Ukrainians (AND GROWING ) 300,000 came between 1980 and 2014.
