Dublin is a beautiful city. I love watching the people. At one point a woman turned and waved at the camera, she had such a lovely smile, then at another point a young lady flipped you off. You got to love the Irish. Thank you for this great video.

Nice city, it seems to be pretty clean, not a lot of traffic, pedestrian friendly, and very modern public transportation system

Indeed, although there is more to it than meets the eye. On the positive side: Dublin to me feels like the best parts of London. In fact, it almost is a kind of mini-London, if you will, with similar Georgian architecture, vibrancy, bustling streets filled with shops, bars, pubs and art studios, whilst a lot less of the crumbling public infrastructure, filth, huge wealth and income inequality or rampant crime that also are a part of daily life in London. On the other hand, I think Dublin doesn't come close to Dutch cities in terms of pedestrian or bike friendlyness, nor is its public transport system as good as in Dutch, Swiss or Scandinavian cities or even London for that matter. Yes, the Luas (tram) is quite nice and the roads are in pretty good condition compared to the UK, but a lot of Dublin is only accessible by bus and the buses in Dublin are, well... patchy. London has the underground (and overground), dozens of rail lines and a very comprehensive bus network, with almost all lines featuring high- frequencies and many even 24h service. Quite the difference, but then it is much much larger too. Nevertheless, as a part-Scot I marvel at the sight of Dublin and other Irish cities. It gives me faith that Scotland too would likely be a lot better off as an independent country and that a big part of our decline is indeed due to national UK government policies. Still, I love Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee or aberdeen. and I love Dublin. I really think there's a certain feeling of kinship or brotherhood among the Irish and Scots, and for good reason, I would say.
