Dubrovnik in 4K

Dubrovnik is always worth a trip. That´s what the crew of Cities in 4K thought, too. So we decided to visit this beautiful city this spring after the Star Wars filming was finished.
Dubrovnik is located at the Adriatic Sea in Croatia and it´s on UNESCO´s list of World Heritage Site. It has a beautiful old part of the city which is bigger than the usual ones. It is a very popular touristic destination for tourists from all over the world, because it combines history and sea vacation in one.

Dubrovnik looks charming with less tourists. So I'm not sure if it is still as nice when it goes back to being a touristy city, after the pandemic is over and done with. Either way, this city is beautiful. Thanks for this quick virtual tour!

In the seventies I was several times in a country that was called Yugoslavia. I was in Dubrovnik and Zadar to see a rock group Beijlo Dugme. I also loved the band SMAK. I met wonderful people, had friends in Knin, Dubrovnik, Sarajevo, Beograd and Kraljevo. The people were good, the politicians bad. Who knows.
