Just realized that IDM and especially scratching (also include vocal freestyle definitely) is all the modern incarnation and inheritors of freeform Jazz. It's actually pretty amazing how much scratching is capable of doing when it doesn't have access to control notes. I guess it's technically percussion (?) or just something outside the traditional conception of music. Anyway, this kid is fuckin sick! Keep it up!

A poor artist couldn't make himself sound good on the world's most expensive guitar, and a poor chef can't make the world's freshest ingredients taste good. Not that FL is mediocre or poor- it's a pretty powerful DAW.

People need to give more credit to Dj's. I walked into my local Guitar Center, and messed around with the turntables they had set up in there. The only sounds I could make sounded like cancer in audio form. Shit's fucking hard if you don't know what you're doing!
