Whoever runs Dubstep uNk i just want to say a big thank you for being the only channel still keeping up dubstep alive. Been in the scene since 2010, saw many channels come and go, and now with Black label gone, the only "dubstep" channels remaining were UKF and Dub rebellionm, which I know for a fact would have killed dubstep already if not for this channel's existence. You're the only channel rn pumping true dubstep and you probably can tell this by your sub numbers rising and channels like TDR decreasing in views. The heavy dubstep niche was always and will always be true dubstep, and for those who try to erase it and pretend dubstep is now dnb with trance with [insert genre here],. a big F U :^)

Agreed. Dubstep should only be labeled as heavy bass music. All this “color bass, drum n bass, soft stuff” in my opinion needs to go😂 I got into dubstep because of its griddy heavy dark style. That in my opinion is what dubstep is and should be labeled as. I respect all EDM music but if you’re gonna have dubstep in your KZbin channel name. Keep it Dubstep lmao. The heavy style is changing to this “tearout” “riddim” sub genre which I’m all for. It’s kinda the new version of what Skrillex use to be for me in my teenage years when he came out with the Equinox and Cinema. Thank you DubstepUnK for keeping it real here💪

Seems like dubstep was around before you started listening to it. When it started to sound like what you are talking about, the original dubstep listeners were saying the exact same things you are. Why not just listen to what you like and not worry about what it's called.

@@ZefParisoto respectfully, I dont fully understand. It's been a gripe I've had with most of his songs. It's like he focuses more on the low and high end EQ and drops the midrange completely on his basses. I've had this issue since as far back as his buygore drive thru ep, and I've been hoping he could work on it and improve it. Because his sound design has some potential.

One main issue with Perry Wayne is how much his tracks are similar, I would like to see him experiment more, like he did with his Labyrinth EP for example. Also mixdown-wise, sometimes he comes up with strong mixdowns, but sometimes it feel like "flat" or "lacking something"
