Id love one. Only thing that puts me off is the belt change services. How often do you change them?

Many people feel there is a stigma about ducatis and belt changing... but it's really very simple to change with minimal tools.. the belts will last a long time way over the service intervals, but the original problem that sparked the concern was people who turned the tensioner the wrong way, causing them to rub together and break. Overall, they are a very reliable bike in the right hands. I used mine to commute and go to work even in the rain, covering 18k miles with no problems at all.

I changed mine the other day. If I hadn't decided to put new bearings in the rollers, it would have taken me an hour. The belts have been on since mid-2021, I've done 3 track days and a reasonable amount of road miles, and the old belts still looked like new.

@TheOriginalCoda yep... the belts are no different in material and design to that of a cas engine, and most cars require belts changing at 60k miles... I have done many on v6 engines mostly, and they all look in good shape.. it all depends on how the bike is stored and ridden, I suppose, but they will lose a bit of tension within the first 100 miles of use and slack off to 90 dB... that's why we tension them to 110db

@@PXCMEDIA Yep, I'm glad you're confirming what I suspected, as to why you see some people say 110hz, others say 90hz. They're both right, but for different points in the belt's life. I wish it was more common knowledge.
