I enjoyed this video a lot, motorcycle riding is way more fun than driving a car, anyone who says otherwise hasn't rode a proper motorcycle. I want to get this as my 2nd bike, hopefully in the next year or two.

Got a '01 748s, which is quite special in Switzerland due to changes in trafficlaws back in '01 where they messed up the homologation for all 748s' built in '01... Love driving it, will never sell that thing :)

I have a standard 2000 748 with 45mm Arrow pipes including the no baffle 45mm mid pipe TPS switch adjusted so it's a little fatter across the revs, I get 52mpg if I'm nice the R is different animal, little more compression, cams. I'd expect to see 44-45 mpg from a R if your lucky. My other bike is 853, higher compression standard cams, I would get 42-44mpg but would drop to 35-38mpg under hard use. The 853 would go 165mph +.

Could you tell me about your 853 ….I’m having that engine built just wondering how it differs from 996 ?. I’ve had 996 SPS in the past but I’m told this is a great conversion ?. Del

P VL well spotted, it scared the crap out of me haha :) it was a loose connection on the oil pressure switch.
