Great tutorial! I've watched a few but yours is by far the best of those. Detailed, precise and the only one to cover the checks afterwards like the brake light and whether it will start or not in gear etc.... I followed your tutorial to change the levers on my Supersport S this weekend. All went well and I'm delighted. Thank you again for a great tutorial.

I really appreciate your videos bro. I have now installed the ram mount, NRC mirror block offs, and now about to do these levers! Really appreciate you putting these out there. They really give me the confidence to tackle these projects! Clutch cover and led lights are next!

Nice. Glad I could help. Just make sure you grab a copy of the service manual. All the torque values for everything is listed in there as well as the procedure for how to do all this stuff.

Also, I was about to place an order for the evo performance levers and noticed the sell the shorty and standard folding levers. Wanted to get your thoughts on your preference- pros and cons
@bikesandbeats46935 жыл бұрын
I like the short lever for braking because I always use two fingers to brake. With a long lever, my pinky and ring finger would get in the way of this. On the clutch side, the longer lever reduces fatigue when sitting in traffic. Shorty clutch takes a few miles of riding to get used to but makes launching the bike easier from a stop, for me.

Bikes and Beats Thanks for the responses and great videos. They’re super informative. You and I are doing similar builds- I’m just a step behind you. Did the upmap this weekend and super pleased. Have 360 miles on my 2019 959 Corse and love it. Next up for me is the levers and clear clutch. Keep up the great work!!

I ended up changing this exact ones today but my clutch giving me problems bike won’t start after doing the steps to check if it starts. Any ideas/help please?
@bikesandbeats46932 жыл бұрын
There’s a little clutch that the lever presses on when it’s pulled. See the picture in this link. There’s a little metal tab that when pushed down presses the clutch switch button. Make sure this switch didn’t get damaged and is working normally. You should hear the switch click when you pull the clutch. www.carbon4us.com/22358-large_default/ducati-original-clutch-microswitch.jpg

Hi , I’ve changed of Duc super Sport S w/ quick Shift! Actually I didn’t see any kind sensor when changing ... at the end the Quick Shift doesn’t work! Any idea how to fix it ?
@bikesandbeats46933 жыл бұрын
The quick shift sensor is on the shifter rod. Your bike has quick shifting up in the gears only, no down quick shifter. So when you are accelerating and want to change gears, just shift up with your foot only, no need to pull the clutch. Only need to pull the clutch for down shifting. I have a video installing an auto blipper which is a down quick shifter.

Question, how does the plunger stay in the new lever without the pin you took out of your stock levers? do you pin it or its not necessary for these new levers..?
@bikesandbeats46935 жыл бұрын
Not necessary. On these levers the pin and plunger are the same piece.

how do these compare to the rizoma levers?

Never used Rizoma. Their stuff is a little too flashy for my taste. But these are great quality. Evotech is a top tier brand.

So did u really take off the original ducati levers for chinese one that u can buy also from Aliexpress for 18 $ ????
@ryanzepp91854 жыл бұрын
Was just thinking this these levers are just re branded Chinese levers that are 1/4 of the price of evotechs
@bikesandbeats46934 жыл бұрын
Nope. As I said to Wade, just because the Chinese uses the same pazzo design doesn’t mean anything that uses the same design are Chinese as well. These are made by Evo-tech in UK and they use a much higher quality alloy than what you will get with a Chinese variant.
I highly doubt these are the cheap chinese ones you can get on AMAZON. If you look closely after the installation is made, the levers are tight and move very smoothly when squeezed. The cheap chinese ones are still loose once installed. Please do your research before commenting, it saves people from thinking you're ignorant.
