Thx for the video! I'm still on the stock exhaust with my 1200 but this SC Project GPs sure sound great and look amazing. Congratulations to the anniversario

Thnx snoopmasta, i can really recommend the sc project. I find it better looking than the termignoni that 90% of the monsters have. In addition, they are not as expensive eather. The sound is a little bit sharper, more raw, than the termignoni.

@@geeke7737 Very true - I don't like the look of the Termis very much. And I kinda know myself. Those Twin GP SC Project are on my list for next year - definitely. Hopa you've been driving a little the last two months. Are you still happy with them? I would leave the eaters intact - how about you?
@geeke77375 жыл бұрын
@@Snoopmasta still verry happy with them. if and when i ride with the db killers depends on the situation. if i wanna have a nice and "civilised" ride, i use them.. if it's a more sporty ride with a group of faster riders i don't use them.

Hey man, I hope you see this. I bought a twin gp and the db killer is very difficult to remove. Due to new EU regulations they tack weld the db killer screw on the bottom of the housing. I was able to cut the tack weld with a dremel and remove the screws but cannot pull the db killer inserts out. Were yours difficult to pull out or did they slip right out after removing the allen bolt? Many thanks if you respond and have any advice!
@geeke77372 жыл бұрын
Hi David, the inserts are indeed verry tight fitted in the mufflers. i removed them with pliers, I protected the inserts with some tape so i wouldn't scratch them. grtz and succes in removing them.

@@geeke7737 Thanks for the tip. I used tape like you suggested and wd40 and was able to tap the side of the silencer with a rubber hammer to pull them out. One was much stickier than the other. Thanks!

Nice pipes 🙂 I have a 2019 monster 1200 s with the termignoni slip ons. They Sound Amazing,really deep tone,alot of pops and crackles 🙂 Love them ! Only problem i have now is....there is a region (The Ardennes) in my country (Belgium) where its really fun is to ride....but the last months the police do alot of traffic controls,especially for exhaust noise. If you dont have a homologated exhaust they even take your bike. And my termi is race use only 😕 Thats why i Maybe thinking of this exhaust. It looks the best of al the homologated exhaust i allready found. How is the sound ? Is it also deep ? And pops and crackles its to ? Grtz 👍
@geeke77374 жыл бұрын
Hey there, i'm also from Belgium. My previous 1200s and my current 821 both had the termi's. Although both of them are homologated... this means with removable db killers and the catalyct converter. For this bike i wanted something different. And so i found this set of slip on mufflers on the site of sc project. They are completely homologated, that is if you do not remove the db killers. Without them they sound realy amazing. Even louder than the termi's but a little bit less deep.... but oh do they crackle and puff! And if you have the db killers fitted, they sound also great but a bit more civilised. If you have any doubts about if you should get them to replace your termi's, i would pick them any day of the week instead of the termi's. No doubt. Grtz, G.

did you have to do a ecu tune ? or can i just plug and play with this exhaust slip on?
@geeke77375 жыл бұрын
no, the ECU could remain standard because it's the homologated slip-on with catalyctic converter. that's one of the reasons why i chose this exhaust. i did'nt want to fool around with the ECU, what i would have needed to do with the termignoni slip-on, because that doesn't have the catalyc converter.... and i think it looks and sounds better than the termi's. ;-)

so… just plug and play, no problem.

Hi! Very nice sound :) I have the racing version, but I'm thinking to buy this "easy" version, and keep the other for track days. Did you have any cold start issues? Sometimes my bike not starting easily, but the racing mufflers are fully opened. I had a Monster 1100 earlier with SCs and also had cold-start issues, though Ive never used the killers :)
@geeke77374 жыл бұрын
Hi Robert, the racing version.. that is the full line, not just the slip-ons? maybe that's the reason you have cold start issues if you didn't do a ECU tune for open exhausts. i have no cold start issues whatsoever... not with or without the DB killers fitted.
@robertcsontos60874 жыл бұрын
@@geeke7737 My racing version is slip-on, just an empty tube, really loud :) So fully opened, but Ive had the SC Suono-s on my 1100 Monster and had the same issue, that's why I was asking. Really good sound for your bike, congrats :)
