Ducati Monster 620 - POV ride

Love my 620! I have an 03 that recently got over the 30k miles mark, 7.5k of that is from me. It’s the perfect commuter for me. Even when I think of upgrading to a newer bike, I come to the conclusion that I have the perfect bike.

Yes it's great. I have 3 other bikes (Japanese) but I enjoy this Ducati the most. I also like the old school look as opposed to the newer ones.

Is the 620 a good commuter for 100 miles RT mostly Highway?

I find it quite comfortable and it'll do the trick, but it would probably be better to choose a bigger bike like an adventure or cruiser, for highway commuting

Thanks! This is a 6 speed but it also came with a 5 speed I believe

they were produced from 2002 to 2006. Starting from 2004 they had 6-speed gearbox. In 2007 they were replaced by the 695 model, which had bigger bore, shorter stroke, bigger valves, 18ps more and 9kg less weight.
