What about this streetfighter v2 vs the supersport 950s? They seem to have the same purpose? Sport and street? Wich one to recommend? What are the differences?
@richardbrooks45493 жыл бұрын
They have different engines. SF has 35 more horse power for starters and flat bars. SS has clip ons
@jonathanvh093 жыл бұрын
@@richardbrooks4549 yes, but they serve the same purpose. Sporty riding but comfortable. It makes a lot more sense to hear about the differences then between the supersport and the panigale for example. Which is sportier?, which is more comfortable?, ...what about touring/cruising and commuting? Is the only difference the pk and the looks?
@richardbrooks45493 жыл бұрын
@@jonathanvh09 No. that’s not the only difference. The panigale is lighter, sportier and far more powerful than the SS. And this is a review of the SF V2. It would be strange to do a comparison of the SS and Panigale in an SF review!
@jonathanvh093 жыл бұрын
@@richardbrooks4549 i know. But thats not what i ment. The panigale is a track bike. These are sporty rond bikes an good for occasional track days. I would like to see a comparisson of the ss and the sf. Who are both about same price range. Its naked vs one with a cowl. But for ridingstyle they want the same thing. The sf will probably be more of a hooligan bike.

Beautiful machine Toad. Even better and sleeker looking than the V4 Streetfighter. The exhaust system looks far neater and better. This bike makes much more sense than the crazy 180hp plus hyper nakeds and will be more usable on the street. I am seriously looking at this as my next bike along with the new 22 model Yamaha MT10 SP. Can't decide between them but I will try to blag a test ride on them when they are available. I'm currently on a SFV2, after coming off a Duke 890R. SF all the way imo. 890R feels like a plastic toy. Mine had valve cover gasket leak, css leak, water in ftf, coolant leak, electrical fault, and quick shifter stopped working, all before 5000 miles. I will NEVER buy another KTM. I currently own 3 Ducati's, SS950S, V4 Multi S, and SFV2. So far all have been reliable.

Hi, thank you for the great video. Quick question if you don’t mind. I do have a Diavel 1260(standard but with factory quick shifter) and want something a little more sporty that I can take a time or two a year on the track. I test rode my friend’s Streetfighter V4S and was very disappointed with the lack of the low end for regular street riding. I did place the order for the Storm Green Streetfighter V2 but the dealer doesn’t have one to test ride, so my question is if the V2 has the grunt in low RPMs for the street riding similar to the Diavel 1260 or am I better off upgrading to the Diavel 1260S? Thank you!

Wow, Toad- we saw things VERY differently? The '22 Ducati SF V2 & '22 Ducati SuperSport 950S are GROUNDBREAKING. Ducati 'could' sell lots & lots of these to smart riders. Insanely well developed street 'leaning' bike w/ track proven everything that you don't have to worry that you'll reach escape velocity! If I were a Ducatista- id be yelling from the rooftops. Surprised I haven't seen more of a flow that way?

Looking at the specification for this motorcycle, the seat height is 845. I am not sure if they have done their homework as there are many riders that cannot reach the ground even with a 830 seat height. I think manufacturers need to accommodate riders that will be comfortable with at least 810 seat height.

Yamaha left the chat 4 years ago... The new MT's are ugly AF, and compare the MT09 to this thing.... I'd like to ride the MT10 and the SFV2 back to back to feel that out, but honestly - Euro bikes have their haters and people say they are overpriced - The Yamaha simply won't be as nice as the Ducati... It just wont... I've got mates with MT09's and MT10's, GSX-S 1000's, Z1000's, even KTM Duke 790/890's.... Compared to the Italian bikes I've riden/own - they all miss the mark... They are cold, emotionless, and feel cheaply constructed by comparison.... An MT09 (Japan's closest competitor) next to my MV Agusta is a joke... The fit and finish of the Japanese bikes simply isn't there. Trust me - Yamaha aren't paying attention to this.
