Not sure about the wings but that is probably the most attractive bike I have ever seen. And the sound is on par with that other Italian V4. I would probably lose my licence in the first day of riding.

This bike will make you do very bad things

99.999% of riders only need the V4, myself included. I am a skilled rider with 20+ years experience with a lot of track time and I have my CMRA license and do about 4-8 track days/year and this is more than enough. My track bike is a Daytona 675R and a GSKR 750. I am a middle weight freak. This is the first liter bike I have ever owned.
@leeridefar3 жыл бұрын
I still have the Supersport S and middleweight is the way to go. For me anyways. You are absolutely right about riders needing the regular version and are very humble to admit that it is works for you as well. That’s for watching and writing a comment.

HAPPY NEW YEAR Lee. You were telling me that "1st Gear Motorcycle School & Training" Channel belongs to you, right Sir.? Have you ever thought about inviting Local MotoVloggers from B.C. for some FREE Riding Classes in return for doing a Collaboration with them.? You can never have enough Training and Practice. I think that could be Win, Win for You, your Channel and the other MotoVloggers as well. I could suggest many for you to reach out to, if you liked this idea. The best part is that they are local and have their own motorcycles. - Angel

Do you think you need to spend a few thousand dollars more on the S model if you don’t track the bike? Have you ridden the S model with lighter wheels and Öhlins suspension??
@leeridefar3 жыл бұрын
There is no need to spend the extra money on the S unless you’re in the expert group at the track. See the comment by Neo Smith

Streetfighter V2 vs. Supersport950, which one do you recommend?
@leeridefar2 жыл бұрын
If you are going to do more touring. SuperSoort If you are more of a day rider. Streetfighter. Tough call! Or whichever one looks better to you. Both are such great options.

Woof. What’s the ride like over bumps for bad road street riding
@leeridefar2 жыл бұрын
Not great. But no sport bike really is. The HyperMotord or Multistrada is better for that
@FadilKarim2 жыл бұрын
@@leeridefar You should try the SFV4s on bad roads. I'd imagine the electronic suspension would be better at soaking up the bumps

Please please share some comments on heat management. That’s my biggest concern on Ducati...
@leeridefar4 жыл бұрын
It’s hot. Just like all Ducati’s. You have to have an average speed of 60kmh+ to not feel uncomfortably hot.
@cg81684 жыл бұрын
Way way better then other Ducati.
@rem-re7sc4 жыл бұрын
actually as owner i can tell that it’s less hot than panigale v4 AND especially all V2/l2 motors based bikes it’s not incredibly hot, ur just feeling a little warmth around ur balls
@bschoenecker4 жыл бұрын
The heat management is great. One, because of the lack of fairings. Two, because when the engine idles and water temp is over 167 degrees F, it shuts down the rear cylinder bank to reduce the level of heat

Why anyone would buy this bike and leave it on street is beyond me. When I bought my ZX14r, also 200hp, I thought I’d keep it in low power mode on the way home from the dealer in the rain. That lasted about halfway home and it’s never been out of high power mode for the last 4 years.
@leeridefar2 жыл бұрын
Maybe you get caught in the rain. Maybe you just woke up and are not quite 100%. It’s a nice a option to have.

They probably put those cheap bulbs on the rear signals because they know 99.9% of the people who buy this bike will immediately install a tail tidy kit
@leeridefar4 жыл бұрын
They know the lights will meet legal standards worldwide. So yes they’re cheap but they have less to worry about when getting each vehicle authority of each country to approve them.
