I’m ALL DONE with Ducati they are so wrapped up in the “image” gone are the days when riding a Ducati was a very different and special experience . I’m hanging up my 1299s (clutch issues ,brake issues won’t switch out of sport mode, quick shifter doesn’t work etc etc) and buying an R1 M for the track eat my dust spaghetti heads

@@jcdelicano1812 yeah I saw that. I mean would we even care if the kept the same model for a few more years with minor changes? No lots of manufacturers do that. It’s the over the top “big reveal” that is frustrating. Or maybe I’m a hypocrite because I have the 1260 Grand Tour and that release wasn’t much different. It does come with the touring package already installed though so I thought it was a good deal and I love it.

Moments like that make me buy a KTM… Where are the cool bikes? What‘s about a bigger Monster? The Diavel is too heavy and expensive. The Streetfighter V4 ist too loud and sportive. The V2 is too much plastic stuff for the price. The Hypermotard 950 is too expensive in comparison to a KTM Duke 890 R, which even beats the SP with no problems, while being cheaper than the standard version. But nevertheless in my opinion the best Duc in stock atm. With 20 HP more i would buy one. Actually a KTM 1290 Superduke seems to be the best decision. I mean guys… look KTM‘s growing and then on yours. I really like Ducati, but to be honest KTM do better.

Some good points. But. One word, that KTM does not like. Reliability! Too many reliability problems with KTM. Their quality control is not as good as BMW or Ducati.
