Great video. Going to try this but with the over lap bit slightly longer to touch the roof (with rubber edge) so weight is also on the roof and not just on the bolts. But your idea was the solution I have been looking for to save 100s of pounds on pre-made ones. Off shopping for parts now. Thanks..

Well done! The question is how well the Dukato (Promaster here in the 🇺🇲 States) post itself holds up. I saw a video on a 1 year old Promaster with a very light roof rack with a couple solar panels broke out the metal in the roof that the post was attached to.

What model Ducati is this? Trying to figure out is L4H3 roof pins are same as us Ram promaster 159 EXT

Hello the roof on one h3 is different of the low version. Did you found a solution?

Works for us, with roof rack made from unistrut. I would suggest you make one and see if it works for your design.
