Recently thanks to quarantine I've been experimenting with different braiding styles black women use, and even though mine aren't nearly as well done or pretty as anyone else's, I must say that its been a fun process. I admire Black women lots I think you guys are simply wonderful! :))

Breyannia Clark You can do it sis! I started learning when I saw a Latina classmate Dutch braid (braid is on the inside) her hair (2B and mid-back length) in class one day (in the 80s). She did it with no effort and quickly. I asked her if she would teach me and she said she would. I had to wait because I did not want her to take her newly done braid out for me. So when she did a few days later, I had mine out too (3C) and I braided mine as she braided hers so I could see and do it at the same time. I had to build the arm strength but when I did, it only took me a month to do it without stopping. Then I learned French braiding (braid on the outside) through cornrows when my cousin taught me with her hair (4B). You have to push through the pain when your arms and mind wants you to stop. That is how you build the strength to keep going. I know you can do it! ❤
