Brother Stone, loved how you built up John David today. It was really nice. Plus thank you for loving Si and John David so much as to take them under your wing and help them with their health...that really shows how much you care! Loved having Willie on, and dont mix his joking around with meanness because watching Willie over the years, its evident that there isnt a mean bone in his body...theres kindness, love, generosity, and fun, and the same for Uncle Si. I sure enjoy you guys! Cant wait to hear about Martins deer hunting trip!

Here's a great piece of advice my dad told me when I was growing up. When your wife is just getting started learning how to cook, either you're newlyweds or especially if she's trying to learn a recipe your mom makes, no matter how bad it is if you're asked by her how something she cooked is the correct answer is always "it was good", unless it was great of course. His reasoning was very simple, if she's already had the pleasure of tasting that dish from someone who's accomplished at making it she already knows if she's hit the mark or not, and she probably also knows if she blew it too. But the last thing she needs at that time is a harsh critique, especially if you're hoping she'll give it another shot. My folks were straight off the boat from Italy and my mom is/was an absolute fantastic cook, but my dad says he ate plenty of hard bread in the beginning of their marriage, and you guessed it - it was always "good". I've followed that advice with my Mexican wife who has always made great Mexican food, but it didn't take long for her to learn some of my mom's recipes because every time she tried it was always "good". Now she's known as an excellent cook of both Mexican and Italian food and I have the belly to prove it. The key is they gotta love what they're doing and they get that affirmation by the feedback you give them.

Oooo I hope they do do the evangelism episodes with Willie. I'm looking for ways to start doing it. I'm taking a class online and one of the sections of the 6 week class is evangelism but I want to get a lot of different ways on how to do it so I can find what I'm most comfortable with. (I'm really shy so I'm looking for a way that suits me.) And hopefully one day I'll get up to Phil's way lol Thank You Father God for the Robertson family. My Momma planned her own funeral so that my brother and my Dad didn't have to. She started the day she was diagnosed with cancer and 5 years later she left us. I told her not to but it gave her peace of mind for her boys not to have to deal with it, like all good Mommas do.
