There are some that won’t get married until well into their 30s or 40s. My wife and I didn’t get married until I was 38 and she was 44. It was totally the Lord though. I was.not.ready for marriage before that. She waited until our wedding night for me. I was her first everything. She has been walking with the Lord for over 20 years. As far as me, I grew up in church but never had a revelation of Jesus. I had prayed the sinner’s prayer a blue million times but was in bondage to lust until right before my wife came into my life. I spent the majority of my adult life chasing feelings. She would not have wanted a thing to do with me at any point prior to our becoming friends.

I had a fire ant get in my ear and bite my eardrum! I thought my head was exploding. In between bites, I was able to crawl my way to the ledge of the loft and fell eight feet curled up in a ball. My mom thought I landed on my head. She was screaming at my dad who was asleep, asking what to do. In his sleep he said stretch her out and point her toes towards her head. So my mom lays on me trying her best to stretch me out, all the while I’m screaming “my head, my head”. My dad woke up, got my mom off me and put rubbing alcohol in my ear and it came out. 😂 that was some of the worst pain.

This last situation where the girl who is a believer is dating a guy who is not a believer needs some questions answered. Did the girl date the guy after she came to Christ? 2 Corinthians 6:14 says believers are not to be unequally yoked (going to same direction) with an unbeliever. Very rarely can a believer force an unbeliever to go their direction. But the unbeliever will be a major temptation to the believer to stray from the Lord. It is the reason why Israel was not supposed to marry outside of Israel because their hearts would be lead astray by idol worshipers. The second question would be, is this girl willing to admit she did wrong by being with this young man in the first place and cut off the relationship? If she is unwilling to then it says where her heart is. We all struggle with wanting our needs met or what we think we need and then giving our hearts to the Lord and His Word.

We have Morman crickets out here in Northern Nevada. They come out of the ground in the Spring and take a path across the ground and destroy everything. When they are stretched for a football field on the roads and get run over, not only do they stink but they are slimy and vehicles/motorcycles have wrecked and a few deaths have occurred around here. @Festivus I wouldn't say that. Though JD does question EVERYTHING he doesn't understand or have knowledge of like it's a lie. But I just think that's his way of being part of the conversation. Jase does something similar on the Unashamed podcast where he says, "Huh? I never heard that before" and I'm like, Jase! I have heard it three times on the podcast alone! One was where Phil was giving out his Jambalaya recipe and he kept interrupting Phil like he had never heard Phil give out the recipe in all his 50+ years on earth. Ya just have to accept it and know that it's part of who they are. But the sound differences when I'm driving kill me. I do have to say Phillip McMillian is usually spot on all the time.
