Please seak out a dog training group that runs hunt tests, they are a wealth of information. Eould highly recommend placing your dog stand off to the side and slightly behind your planned shooting lanes and not shooting directly over your dog. Their hearing is as important as ours.

Away from the blast from the right side and front or even worse over the top of him. Even better is to put them feet away when old enough to be steady. He is an awesome dog! Keep safe man. Oh. 5:50 You were telling him to go back with a bird directly in front of him then proceeded to wack at him when he grabbed said bird. It’s clear the dog doesn’t know what he’s doing in some situations which as a young dog that’s to be expected. But either way don’t take your mistakes out on the dog. As handlers it’s our responsibility to think through these situations. They are only a result of the training we give them and getting mad at the dog was not fair to him. Not trying to be a you know what but cmon man. Great video otherwise.

these r hard watches settle down u shot right by your buddies head and dog. No ones perfect and I’ll be the first one to say I’ve done both it’s early but u gotta clean it up also with ur dog my old one did the same thing very easy fix
