I loved the closed ending. It did it for me. I would have been emotionally wrecked if it ended differently. However, I did wish they showed us a wedding scene. It would have been cute. Love you girls.❤

I don't like the ending. They are just ending up as time travelers between worlds. For those who like fairy tales, the writer owes us a wedding between Gon & Tal Yuel. Come on ... Prince Charming with a pony should end up with "They live happily ever after" in the palace...lol... Overall, this drama is more creative than CLOY and World of Married. However, the drama didn't get a good rating in Korea. I guess it's because the sci-fi storyline is a bit scattered everywhere. It's hard to follow. You lost tracks sometimes. Jo Yeong acts the best in the drama. Gon of course is a good looking guy but a bit cocky during the first few episodes. I also like Lee Lam's cold blood character.

The yoyo boy is the deity like sungjae in goblin. He decided to let the memory of tae ul, lee gon, and yeong to stay. He turned out to be the bully of kang singjae & friend of lee gon at navy.

It was indeed a happy ending! It was 16 episodes of love, sadness, agony, tears, belief, destiny and crazy theories and writer Kim Eun Sook gave us a happy ending we all deserved. Yes, I'm sad as well that the 65th dream of Eun Sup wasn't fullfilled 💔😢 but I guess I'll be okay in time with the fact that their both characters made it alive until the end. Eun Sup with Nari and Jo Yeong with Seung Ah ❤ The last episode indeed highlight its unique plot. TKEM is indeed a masterpiece and I prolly watch it again. Now that it's over, the OST's are really hitting some pain 💔😢. Thanks for your reaction! Honestly, I'm waiting for this 😊

Loved this drama! I was hooked binging on this show. I only wish she could have became queen, but the ending they gave us was more realistic because they couldn’t coexist in the same worlds with their counterparts. The little boy... maybe he got stuck at that she like lee lim didn’t age when he started using the flute.

TBH this drama did really well internationally just because of Lee min ho i mean he is the only korean actor that all international people know about and can say his name without any doubt sorry if i offend anyone here but just stating the facts .. i also think more of now his characters are like same like being rich kid in heirs. And also he was The king and he indeed was some big shot son in legend of the blue sea and here again he was rich who has everything in the King i think he can do lot better in simple kind of role where he did great in city hunter so really looking forward to those kinds of working instead of same repeated type of work where he can be lawyer, attorney or the character like park seo joon does.. not comparing with anyone but you guys may agree with this if yoy think wider i want you guys response on this because you guys know better than me PS. This is my first Korean Series on Netflix. It is quite hard to understand everything cause I can only follow English subtitles. It took forever to watch each episode cause the subtitles moved so fast 😅 had to paused and replay the whole time 🥵. I do like the series especially the leading actress, her acting is very good, so natural and her face is very beautiful without those big eyes and high nose like most Asian actresses. Wish I could speak Korean so I can understand the storyline better 😓

Remember luna asked the yoyo kid what the red thread is? And the yoyo kid in 16 said something like.. should I keep the memories or let them go? If he broke the thread it'll erase memories.. Mihye and Hailey, I do like your pure expression and reaction towards the final eps of TKEM. Both of you look very genuine and yet so much enjoying, with a lot of feeling too on the drama. I feel you too. Yes, I did wish a happy ending for JTE and LG as well as for Cho Young - Seung Ah, Eun Sup - Na Ri, for Shin Jae, even for Luna. I can say TKEM is one of the best dramas this year besides Itaewon Class. The story itself is not on the main stream of Korean dramas. It is even genius if I may say. Imagine at this very modern time, there is a parallel world in Korea which is as modern as what you are living in. Their military uses the similar modern vehicles and equipments (when they area to save JTE from the traitors in the Kingdom of Corea), but still the King rides a horse. They all give me a wide imagination of epic and grandeur of the Monarch but in modern sense. There is another thing which I grasp from the characters, both the protagonists and the antagonists. They showed you about your own choice to be a human: to keep your dignity and your good quality of humankind, or to seek for power and limitless ambition at all costs. Both will take the price to pay. I am glad that I watched TKEM. It was quite too slow in the beginning and a bit too hasty in the last eps. Hats off for the whole production team and actors.

I'm sorry, but I can't LOVE this drama because of how dirty they did Woo Do Hwan's characters' ending like... Eunsub's wish was to see Cho Young again, not only does that not happen, but Eunsub forgets, and Cho Young is burdened with a heart-wrenching memory. Like, lol, those two are the only ones who didn't get a happy wrap-up and I cared about them the most (I mean yes, they each individually have their happiness, but you get what I mean. If it was going to play out like that, at least make them both forget. The respect and friendship they kindled, gone with the wind, and then hand-waved away by the writing as if it was nothing just because of all the other happy stuff going on. I dunno if this upsets ANYONE else lol, but it still irks me.). I feel emotionally robbed. Other than that I liked it well enough, it wasn't phenomenal or anything but it didn't suck. But because of this I can never rewatch it :/

It was still SOMEWHAT of an open-ended ending to me =S I think it's because even if they did show that they're together and happy (and that they grow old together - that scene with their two withered, old hands), we are never really shown how they keep their relationship going throughout the years (if they just keep seeing each other during the weekends all this time until they die, if one of them ends up crossing over worlds and live together permanently, if they ever got married or have kids, etc). But I guess those are up to our own imaginations. BUT STILL I wish there was a way she would have been Queen of Corea and have kids with LG OR he would live in Korea like any other ordinary person with JTE. Sigh, wishful thinking. Can't get over their chemistry!

The key message of the whole drama is to embrace your life no matter what life throws at you, and treasure each moment to love tirelessly. Hence Lee Gon said, "Just for Today, Only for Today, And Forever. " So it doesn't matter whether they are married or have kids in the future. These are just add-on in a relationship. What matters is them - Lee Gon and Tae-eul love each other so much they treasure each day they have with each other, and their love lasts forever. This is so rare in 21st century. Let's just celebrate and appreciate their long-lasting love =)

I enjoyed the warm wrap-up, but it's sad to know that some relationships broke off and tae-eul and lee gon can only date forever? why did eun sup choose a different profession? is the family of lee gons uncle taking over later if he doesn't have children? and to be critical... if they could travel back in time, why not travel 5 min earlier and save his father ??
