What a shame! I used to come here with groups of children with learning difficulties and they loved it! Since then been with a gentleman in a wheelchair and we always thoroughly enjoyed our days here and it seemed busy every time. How sad to see it deserted

Thanks for the comment, yes it's a real shame it closed down as it always seemed popular but I guess if it did not make a fortune for the owners then they would not be interested in keeping it going!

I went to mr blobbys abandoned theme park on 25th of august 2023, the entrance was blocked up and the sign was a bit broken, sad to see it in ruins

its so heartbreaking to see cricket st thomas wildlife park as it is now as i used to work here as the resident kids entertainer & i performed in the courtyard by the shop at the top. ( me & "larry the lemur" used to a show here) & the big pond you saw WAS'NT a pond orginally. it was orginally the dolphin show which was gigantic & a huge big deal & when i saw it had vanished & been filled in it broke my heart ( i'm surprised u did'nt get caught! lol) brillant video.. more please

Glad you like the video Natalie, I had not realised there had been a dolphin show! I may well pop back there again at some point to see if anything has changed, if anything major happens I am sure it would be in the local press, they made a big deal about the gardens when the wildlife park closed but as you can see that did not last long :-(

Hi, it was interesting checking the place out as we remember it from when it was the wildlife park, it is quiet sad how it looks now to be honest, it was my daughter with me, we use to take her there for days out when she was a nipper so she can also remember how it use to be with the animals and train going up and down.

does anyone remember around 1982 the river having walruses or sea lions swimming free please I can't believe I can't find the info from then 🤔🤔

I don't think they mind people strolling around the grounds although I think it is probably only suppose to be for guests of the hotel.
