Actually it wasn't choking at all, none of the goals were from big gaffes. That is choking, when players on the team do stupid things to cause the loss, which was not the case in this late comeback. Ducks are a good team and the calls went their way, that's it.

They would have scored another if waived off anyways, thats just how it felt, but I would just like the league to get calls right. I feel so bad for giving up on them. I was watching in the restaurant and things were going so badly. 1-0 Oilers off a lucky pad bounce. 2-0 Oilers because of a 5 on 3. Then the ducks scored but it was called back for high-sticking. 3-0 Oilers because no-one called the crosscheck on Perry. At the end of the second period I just left the restaurant. Then I went to check the final score at home and I was like GOD DAMNIT I ALWAYS MISS THE COMEBACKS! But I was so happy because Anaheim is my team. But that just shows what they're made of.

NHL used to have the best officials int he world, but the last 5 or 6 years have really declined. I would hate to see the Cup lost in this fashion, and I fear it could happen if things don't change.

It's probably goalie interference (I say probably because you can never know these things for 100%), but it's worth pointing out that the Oilers third goal shouldn't have happened either. And the Fowler hook was soft too (that led to the 5 on 3). So is a missed call instinctively worse because it happens at the end of the game? Both teams had a bad goal allowed.
