Well, the original German voice of Scrooge (Here called 'Dagobert'), Joscha Fischer-Antze, still is alive, but he is too old, so they used the voice actor of Hugh Jackman, Woody Harrelson and Rhys Ifans: Thomas Nero Wolff. But his voice doesn't really fit, so i watch the new series in it's original form. That, and because a few of my favourite TV-actors are in it. David Tennant, Danni Pudi, Ben Schwartz... Heck they even got Jim Cummings, the original voice of Darkwing (And Winnie Pooh, etc.).

I just realised how Donald Duck is probably one of the longest-running best parts of Disney, not only do you have the Ducktales IP with games that ive heard are great, but also two fantastic tv shows. And in Europe we have the duckpockets and the long-running weekly comics too of all the adventures of Donald Duck and his fam and friends. And then you got his appearances elsewhere, like there's so much content/stories from the Duck universe, more than we give it credit for.

I wasn't around when Ducktales originally came (was born in 1994), so unfortunately I didn't see it then, nor did I play the video game. I did though catch a bunch of episodes of it on Toon Disney, and wow was the show awesome. The characters were lovable, the adventures and stories were great, and much more. Haven't watched it in a while but two episodes I liked was when Scrooge McDuck went into the future and i think Magica took over Duckberg or the world and we see older versions of Launchpad, Huey, Duey, and Luey, etc., and another was when they must retrieve a golden goose and return it to a temple before the entire world is turned to gold, damn. As for this, wow is it a major upgrade to the original. The original NES theme was great, but this? Holy shit, it's like they went from awesome to fantastic

Cant lie in saying i never played the original but i heard way too much about it. Especially the theme, so when i heard there would be a remastered edition i went out of my way to get it...I WILL NEVER REGRET IT! God this game is ridiculously fun and the soundtrack kicked ass. I can see why everyone liked or enjoyed this game. I pray for the day this gets some sort of sequel

This theme was epic from the first time it was released in the NES video game. Then they remaster it, and it sounds even more awesome. And finally, they use it as part of the story for the show's reboot! I mean, I jumped with joy when I heard this play on season 2 of the show :p I'm glad I still can feel like a little kid some times.

Jake Kaufman did an *amazing* job on the soundtrack for this game. So many composers, when upscaling a NES song, tend to "flatten" it out by just layering over it until it all blends together, but Jake emphasized what was already there, and then improvised off of it. I love what he did with the boss theme, too.

This song deserves the highest praise I can give: It doesn't sound like an official remaster composition, it sounds like a remix by a talented fan of the original. Care is taken to maintain what makes the original so good, but at the same time, it's added to and elaborated on, becoming more than just the original and standing out as its own composition.
