I visited Thailand many times but not since 2005, because of single parenting, but watching this video it looks like Koh Tao has been taken over by tourists, which is such a shame as it was back in the day a very quite mostly unexplored island, are there even any gems left in Thailand or do we now need to explore more of Cambodia and Laos to find this hidden gems
@DuckTravel6 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing your experience! Thailand has definitely become more popular over the years. While some places like Koh Tao have changed, there are still many hidden gems in Thailand waiting to be explored. 🦆✨💕❤️

There are many pristine islands on this planet. You go to those places. Our type of island focuses on services for all groups, all types, all preferences, convenience, and of course, it is popular and attracts millions of tourists per year. Why did you tell me it's an island with the original nature? Where are there no developed tourism structures? And how many tourists are there? It's a pity that you tried to slander Thailand. No matter what country you come from. You should go back and look at your own country first to see if it is doing well or not.

Shocking how it has changed already since I was there 9 years ago. Seems overdeveloped now. Can't really see how it would be the "most relaxing" island in Thailand. Still, I know, Ko Tao has some very beautiful spots.

This is not an island, this is a commercial market full of tourists. The real island is full of trees like a lush forest, not full of shops and restaurants.😂
@@BALL.1995 This is not about which country is the most visited in tourism, but it is about an island that is no longer natural. Sorry, i prefer places that are not popular, aka still raw and wild.Places that are rarely visited by tourists are gems, not islands like markets. I hope your government can think about the natural environment and forests, not just money.

Thank you for your detailed and enthusiastic comment! The island doesn't have an airport, so I traveled there from Bangkok by train and boat, which took about 10 hours.

Mass tourism is an ecological disaster happening in real time. Why is it that all conversations on climate change go mute when it's time for your vacation ? I guess it doesn't apply then ?? 🤔
@Mfoukos5 ай бұрын
We don’t care about your ‘’ woke’’ culture! Those climate activists comments are BS! Like in nature so it is in islands that every six 6️⃣ months only 🪰 flying around the island and no tourists! Keep that in your mind silly, people need to make living there ,they have families and kids & tourist is the only way to get money
@TheFreshPeddler2 ай бұрын
@josephryan7312 - why is it that those who push climate change agenda have monumentally larger carbon footprints than those they preach to... That's because it's all bullshit. Climate was never static. It has always fluctuated with periods of warming and cooling and no amount of government fuckery or taxation is going to do anything to "solve" it. Mass tourism is far better than mass migration, another thing the climate change oligarchy pushes that will cause much more inflation and chaos, which will then bring consent for "order". You need to pull your head out of your ass while you still have one.
