Okay I remember watching a *"Happy Tree Friends"* mod of Friday Night Funkin and I'm reading the people's comments, and if I'm remembering this right, *"Flippy"* was it, he fought in a big war and when he hears or sees something that reminds him of the war, he goes *PSYCHO* and he can't help it cuz when he turns like that, he doesn't see innocent people just relaxing chilling, but instead, he sees enemy's and backstabbers AND anything else that evolves the war or something, and so thats why he keeps killing *and* regretting it after, cuz he knows it was wrong but his war instincts took over, hopefully I'm remembering this right 🤔🤔🤔

In my opinion the whole thing about whether or not he genuinely thinks he's still on a battlefield or if he's just sadistic psycho is sort of ambiguous in the show, there are things you could use as evidence both for and against it, but it's certainly a popular hypothesis. Also, his evil side (called Fliqpy by the fans) is actually a full-on split personality, so the sweet and wholesome guy and the violent murderer aren't actually the same person technically speaking.

I know the feeling. Back when I was first getting into the show I would read plot synopses on the Happy Tree Friends wiki so I'd know what was coming. It's kind of sad that now that I actually *am* used to it, the show's almost certainly over so I'll never be able to experience an episode truly blind (well, possibly except the Still Alive episodes, but that was so long ago I barely remember what it was like).
