I didn't know these were VHS tapes until I got it for the Philips CD-i. It's cool it was released on different formats.

Although it's cool hearing Mia Farrow, who voiced a certain 🦄, narrate this, it really should have been animated, was their budget literally horsehair or something (like at at 11:55, whoever drew this apparently never saw actual 🐑/🐏 in their life, literally the poorest drawn sheep I've ever seen)? But lack of animation aside, it's still a good re-telling of the Greek myth (and ain't gonna lie, I do wish pegasi were real).

That's my biggest gripe with a lot of CD-i games, no animation (or barely any). I have a feeling the creators of this game series churned these games out very quickly. Same with the Interlight Bible games. They mostly use the same template for all their games (except 1 I think).

@@Hyp3rblue Wouldn't surprise me if that were the case, for quantity over quality. Heck, the SEGA CD and 3DO at least took advantage of the FMV fad thing whilst the CD-i seemed reluctant to do so most of the time, wouldn't surprise me if those were two factors that led to its commercial failure.

Agreed. I don't remember any marketing for it either. So, that couldn't have helped.
