I would be interested to hear more about your almost ultralight setup with the RidgeRunner. Subscribed.

If your under quilt is warmer than it needs to be, can you loosen it so it's not tight against the hammock and let air flow through underneath you? I'm thinking of getting a 20° quilt, but I won't need it to be that warm all the time. That's the coldest I would probably need, ever.

You probably don’t want a draft underneath. I think you will be fine as long as your top quilt is appropriate.

Hey buddy nice stack of quilts. I have a 0° / -17c from warbonnet and a home made 20° / -6c under quilt. Have you talked about quilt stacking at all? It can save money for those guys wanting to do some winter camping.

I haven’t, but that would be a good topic once it starts getting colder.

Great video, loved the two you did for the Border Route Trail hike as well! I like the idea of the 40 degree UQ, but wonder if you can stretch the comfort level when temps dip into the 30s. Early Spring, and late Fall trail maintenance trips often have a few colder nights. Have you used an UQ protector with the Lynx, or wear additional layers as appropriate to make it more versatile? Thanks!

Underquilt protector can add about 10 degrees. I like the spindrift in cold weather also.

How durable are these? Got one used for sale here. According to the seller it is 4y old and around 10 times used. Comes with hammock, underquilt, net etc and the price is really tempting. I've used gathered end hammocks thus far, and been on a look out for a winter UQ but that whole setup is cheaper than a similarly rated uq for my gathered setup. Cheers if some1 answers!

Do you use your Nemo Tensor or another pad in your Ridgerunner? If so, have you combined it with your Lynx? Does this work to increase warmth?

I have not but my friend Rob Pelton did in the winter and found. it did not work well and he was cold.
