Thanks for that video Andy, ALC lines seem to be different on all the Dudek wings. I can't wait to test this hidden gem of a wing.

Thank you for this instructional video. As a newbie, I began flying this wing nearly a year ago. I have a much better understanding of the ALC system now. I may not actually install the ALC lines but it's still nice to know how in case I advance my skills. Great job on this tutorial!

Cheers Andy ..will be doing mine at the weekend too. And using the trusty Bahcos too, my weapon of choice..not a plumbing and heating engineer are you also?? Lol ..👍
@AndySV1K6 жыл бұрын
mark nurse no not a heating engineer but used to install solar thermal a few years back so the trusty adjustables got used heavily then 👍🏻☺️

Thank you Andy, great info. Iv'e just ordered a uni 1.1 and didn't even realise the ALC lines weren't attached. I wonder if you could post a review on the uni 1.1 at some point please?
@AndySV1K6 жыл бұрын
melodicsenior thank you. I will do further videos of the 1.1 but as yet I still haven’t flown it! I was hoping for a first flight with it today but alas not. In terms of reviewing it though I don’t really have much to compare it against. I’ve only owned one other wing and that was a paramania Revo which was 10 years ago!

Andy, I used your video to explain my wing a bit on my latest KZbin release. Hope you don't mind.

Andy, what do you set your trimmers to on take off?
@AndySV1K5 жыл бұрын
set to 3. i'd possibly go further out if it's more windy but 3 seems to be a reasonable setting. Manual states it's ok to launch fully trimmed in but that makes me nervous of a stall.

@@AndySV1K Thanks, I tried 3 last night and didn't get the lift I expected. I normally fly my other wing all the way out... Won't happen with the Universal.. LOL... I will try a 2 on the next flight.... Thanks so much!

@@Ohio-PPG-Trike-Adventures Full out launches?! wow. Are you within the weight range of the Uni? I'm right at the top end of mine so everything is a little faster than I'm used to too.

@@AndySV1K Yes, I'm flying a 34 Meter wing and I'm all in at 385.
