I know I’ve asked Andrew 3 times to make this with an excavator mount. I know quite a few people asked him but didn’t seem interested in making it work. I bought a split fire at bunyon. I like Easton made but can’t wait forever. Peace

Love watching Mike Morgan use his too.....what a back saver.

I have seen your channel and you guys on other channels. Just started watching you while I workout. I said the other day that you needed the mini excavator log splitter. Looks so easy now. I am from Newtown and love splitting wood. Saw you were from CT. Thought that was cool.

Awesome thanks for checking out the channel. You are very close to me.

I have been wondering where the MS324 has been, haven't seen it in a while. I'm glad you got it adapted to the excavator 😊 Good video 👍

Me too! This has been a long time coming!

Hello guys. Definitely an asset to an excavator.👍🇺🇸

That is a great splitting setup for big rounds!!! What’s the cost involved in the attachment and the modifications made for your mini-ex? I love how it can also be used on the skid steer too. I’m all for efficiency and attachments that are multipurpose. Thanks for sharing!!!
@DudeRanchDIYАй бұрын
I think it would be about $3,500 for the splitter and the adapter mount, about $200 for the new line extensions.

Sign me up, this is exactly what I need.

With that attachment on the Kubota, I would never turn away huge nasty logs, your boiler buddies will love you.

I wish it was a bit more powerful! Then it would be perfect!

Looks like he mini splitter performs better on the excavator anyway! I'd be surprised if it ever going back on the mini skid
@DudeRanchDIYАй бұрын
Absolutely! I don’t see myself swapping it back!

I've got one like that for my bobcat mt100 mini skidsteer! Nice video brother!

Thanks!

Looks like the MS 324 needs triple the power in the hydraulic cylinder - looks way underpowered!
@DudeRanchDIYАй бұрын
Yeah I agree a larger cylinder would definitely be welcome!
@down2earth83829 күн бұрын
The purpose of this attachment is to split the big nasty rounds so they can be split easier , and yet time and time over and over on this video it won’t even split. It just stops. Doesn’t even try
@jonjones8030Ай бұрын
What psi does your excavator run? I bought one and it won't split the big rounds on my skid steer at 2900 psi. I believe the axis runs at 3800 psi. It definitely needs a larger cylinder
@DudeRanchDIYАй бұрын
I believe it runs at about 3,000psi. I agree a bigger cylinder would be nice, stay tuned for my next video.

how does the 324 work on that there KU-BOATER tractor? is that 9gpm or so ? i hace a2022 TYM T494 i think it has 9-10gpm
@DudeRanchDIYАй бұрын
I havent tried it on the tractor because they are different mounts. @eastonmadewoodsplitters has videos of it on a tractor

Big rounds you should have a sawmill on you'll be making money off of the lumber what's leftover cut up for firewood
@DudeRanchDIYАй бұрын
A sawmill would be a considerable expense both monetarily and time wise and one I would not even start to see a return on for a few years. This works for my needs.

Why you make such small pieces?
@DudeRanchDIYАй бұрын
Because that’s what my customers want
@supertrooper7403Ай бұрын
Doesn’t look to be very efficient to me.
@DudeRanchDIYАй бұрын
It’s not something intended for productivity. This splitter is allowing me to process those big ugly pieces into something desirable for another allowing me to dispose of it for free.
