Thanks for the ride that was fun. Going up the hill and sig-saging was like being on a amusement park ride.

Thanks for the tour of this state park. I visited this park a week ago. Loved this park very much. Watching your video made me want to visit there. Easily in my top 10 favorite state parks in Texas. I must go back.

I would like to see more of what the camp sites are like. I like camping where the lake is at my site with an awesome view that you don't get at home. That is one of the main reasons I camp, that and relaxation.

Thank you so much for the feed back!! I do my best to present the campsites in the experiential videos. My intent for the FPV tour is to provide you with a look at all of the paved roads in the park so that there are few driving surprises when you roll into the park with your RV. The FPV videos can run long, like this one at 40 min, it is your opinion that I should present campsite info here as well?

Dude RV Keep being you! Love the overview you give of the park. Thanks for sharing your experience. That scooter is a cool way to get around.

@@MrSTravelQuest it is but I keep having to educate the park staff on the ADA and the fact that my scooter is and ADA compliant mobility scooter and I can in fact operate it in the park.
@MrSTravelQuest4 жыл бұрын
@@DudeRV I didn't think they would give you trouble on operating one in the park. Do you happen to know how many parks are ADA compliant? I've only seen a few trails that are.
@DudeRV4 жыл бұрын
@@MrSTravelQuest just about every other Texas State Park that I visit, I have the "electric scooters are not allowed, you cant operate that here" conversation with a someone who works at the park, either a young new ranger or a over zealous volunteer. The last serious conversation was at Lake Tawakoni SP where the very young park ranger did not really know what the ADA even was. the worst was Lake Whitney SP where a park host was actually banning people with powered wheel chairs at the gate, not even letting them into the park!

Hi Bob. Late viewer to this one, but it's one of the camp grounds I'm going to soon. I always like to watch your vlogs( sometimes more than once)before I go on a road trip so that I can kind of know what to expect.
@DudeRV5 жыл бұрын
that is exactly why I am doing what I am doing! It was very frustrating for me when planning a trip that there is just not enough usable info on our Texas State parks. I am so glad you are finding my work to be worthwhile! thanks for the support!

@@DudeRV I know what you mean. You're actually doing the parks a great service. And Google maps just don't cut it.

Hey, Bob, did you get to see Bush's funeral train? I watched it on t.v. it was very sad and neat at the same time. Merry Christmas to you.
@DudeRV5 жыл бұрын
I did not get to see the train in person, like you I watched it on TV. It was a well thought out service. I agree it was sad and very cool all at the same time.

Wish you would’ve slowed down so we could’ve seen the rv sites better.
