Dudhkunda lake ( दूधकुण्ड) is located in the lap of Numbur Himal in Soludhkunda Municipality Ward No. 1 of Solukhumbu District. Dudhkunda lake altitude is 4632 meters above sea level. This unique trek offers an incredible journey through traditional villages, allowing trekkers to experience the distinct culture and natural beauty of the region. Dudh Kunda, one of the best-kept secrets of the Lower Everest Region, offers trekkers the rare opportunity to reach the base of a mountain within just two days from the road head. This four-day trek, starting from Okhaldhunga, offers a captivating experience with its turquoise-blue high-altitude lake, pristine waterfalls, flowing rivers, and stunning landscapes.
The trekking route follows this itinerary:
Day 1: Okhaldhunga to Kamo Danda
Day 2: Kamo Danda to Dudh Kunda Base Camp
Day 3: Visit Dudh Kunda and return to Salleri
Day 4: Salleri back to Okhaldhunga or onward to other destinations
