OK, so what is Mastery and how is this Dudley different that the ones being made by Spalding? Does Mike Hamilton has a patent to make bats under the Dudley moniker? Just trying to understand why do we have two different companies making Dudley Bats. Second question: how does this Mastery bat compares with the 2024 Lighting Legend Retro? Aside from the weight being .5 numbers (26.5, 27.5 vs 26, 27, etc.) they seems to have the same specs. I have a 27 of the retros and it is pretty hot. Thanks for the help and keep up the good work!

@@danielcarvajal9686 Not sure who is allowed to make what but this one had a stiffer/ crisper barrel with more endload. The retros are softer. I got more distance with the Mastery than the Retros.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the difference between a "Senior" bat and a regular bat?

Senior bats for ages 40 year olds and above. Can only use them in Senior Sanctioned tournaments. They have different performance restrictions than let’s say USSSA bat. Basically they are hotter

Senior bats are typically 50 and older players, leagues and tournaments. They are SSUSA and ISA 1.21 BPF versus USSSA, ASA, NSA, USA bats that are 1.20 BPF. Senior bats are usually hotter out of the wrapper but generally do not last as long. They also do not come with any kind of warranty
