Hey man I appreciate your contents and I also want to buy original Duel Masters Cards so can you please tell me from which web site I can buy these cards

Hi, I recently found my old DM cards and suddenly I remembered how I loved this game and so I started searching for card online becouse I would to collect them but there is where my problems started. I live in Italy and it seems impossible to find any "card shop" where you can still buy those cards and for this reason I started looking elsewhere if someone could have the answer I was looking for and (other than a japanese channel) I found yours. All that being said, just a simlpe question: how/where do you find store that still sell DM cards? It would be fine any language. Thank you.

Hello! Thanks for the question and really happy to hear you're gaining interest in Duel Masters again, we need more players in the community! As for how to buy DM cards in 2020 -- I should probably make a video about this. There are a few places that I go, all of which are online, because like yourself, outside of Japan/smaller asian markets it's pretty much impossible to find DM cards for sale locally in western countries. Here are my sources: - If you want to buy older English/TCG cards like the ones you used to collect, eBay is one of the best places to look. Unfortunately, the value of Duel Masters TCG cards has gone up quite significantly over the years and they are very expensive to purchase, especially if you want to buy specific singles. I've also used local classified sites (Kijiji in Canada) to find people who live nearby who are selling old cards, but this is also rare and you'll have to keep an eye out very frequently (weekly). - If you're interested in buying either older cards in Japanese, OR newer cards (which can only be found in Japanese), Rakuten Global is a great site to go, particularly for singles. There are lots of sellers there that can help you find what you need, and prices are usually reasonable. - If you want to buy newer cards in Japanese and are interested in buying full booster boxes, AmiAmi is one of the better sites, as they ship internationally and prices are also reasonable. Let me know if you're looking for anything in particular and I can see if I can help you find places to buy.

@@DoubleBreaker Thank you so much! All of this is gold for me because it was quite unbelievable for me the lack of information on the internet around something (at least for me) quite popular back in the early 2000s. For now, all I want is just to have a wider sight of the meta cause I lost contact with this game for too much time so I keep watching you're videos, but if I will have other question I won't hesitate to ask. Thank you again!!

Been wanting to try the OCG for a while with a friend, would you say that the two most recent SDs, 14 and 15, would be a fine starting point?
@DoubleBreaker4 жыл бұрын
I actually think those are great starting points! Both decks are similar in strength (and therefore good for direct matchups), and the card effects and mechanics of the decks are both fairly simple and easy to understand. Fun fact, recently I ordered x6 of DMSD-15 (by accident). May make a video on that one soon!
@DoubleBreaker4 жыл бұрын
Another thought: if you're interested in experimenting with the decks before buying, you and your friend can setup accounts on untap.in to play online.
@Artster9004 жыл бұрын
@@DoubleBreaker ah, wasn't aware there was an online simulator, thanks for sharing! I was under the impression that it was just DM Plays, which I have been having a blast with recently. I really missed this game, so the OCG has been something that's been both appealing and scary, as I only know extremely basic Japanese.
@DoubleBreaker4 жыл бұрын
@@Artster900 I'm absolutely on the same journey as you -- Japanese only cards can be challenging to work with. Untap does a good job of having card translations and letting you experiment with the game mechanics even on the OCG decks though, so you can get more of a feel for different deck types and how they play. DM Plays is definitely also a ton of fun, but more limited in terms of what cards you can play with.
